Who has right of way here?

This morning the mist in the park was so dense it was more like fog. This did not deter the stag, there was a lot of activity. I followed this stag around for a good couple of kilometres. He was really busy, running and roaring. So I was more than a little startled to see this runner almost brushing shoulders with him as she passed him - I thought I was fairly bold!
