Acoustics

I work within our acoustics team, my role is mapping, analysis and modelling. As I'm not acoustically train I've been attempting to pick up as much as I can since I arrived 18 months. I love learning even if it is not in my specialty.

Today was a day full of knowledge bombs working on a task with my boss. Lots of acoustic calculations between us to answer a client's specific queries. This means lots of logarithmic calculations, oh those acousticians love their logs! Lots of fun though (come on, spreadsheets, sums, of course I enjoyed it!)

On side news - NOW STARTS A WEEKS HOLIDAY! Wahoo! We'll be staying in and around Glasgow, exploring a bit and generally having a good time to relax together! Perfect!
