Flowers of Romance

In my continuing search for colour in a grey world, I thought I would capture one of the roses I purchased for my dear wife for Valentine's Day.

I do not usually buy roses as I am not their biggest fan, but I was really taken with this two-tone variety.

Sadly, they are getting ready for the bin now, but they added real colour and fragrance to the house during their short and laughably expensive stay.
