Beautiful birthday

What a lovely morning and a beautiful walk to work!

I am rather loathe to advertise my birthday but my colleagues knew and, though I tried to keep it quiet, they had organised a wee celebration with two (TWO!) cakes.
I am such a lucky man!

Emily, my gorgeous daughter, sent tickets to a Seth Lakeman concert.
Nathan gave me a new book by David Nichols and a very nice shirt.
Denise bought dinner as well as tickets to see "One man, two guvnors" tomorrow.
Ros sent me greetings.
Henny, my godmother, who is well into her nineties, sent me a card.

I am so so so so lucky!
