Goodbye party

Gunilla, the manager of the Härnösand campus library, is leaving so we had a party to wish her all the best.  Although I've only worked here 3 years I've known Gunilla for 29 years, since we both worked at a language teaching center all those years ago.
The party was held on the fourth floor of the library and we moved out there as soon as the library was shut.  The sun had set a while earlier but was still lighting up the sky.  The food was laid out on tables along the window wall, which is why you see the backs of the hungry people filling their plates.
It was a good party but a little melancholy as these things are.  We all like Gunilla and are sad to see her go.  Fortunately we all like her replacement too. We need to have confidence in our leaders in these turbulent times!
