Hospital Visit

This is the children's centre at my local hospital. We've been bringing my son here regularly since he was born to have his hydrocele checked. We had hoped it was healing properly, but today it was confirmed that he will need a small surgery to correct it. It won't require a hospital stay, but will need a couple of days off school, and a couple of weeks off strenuous activities. We're going to try to get it booked in for next summer to minimise the impact on his schooling.

I'm not looking forward to explaining operations and anaesthetics to a 5 year old :(
