'Lunch at The George Inn'

One thing I love about being English is our wonderful old country pubs. It was one of the things I missed during our years in the Army, living abroad.

The George Inn, is in Alfriston, East Sussex and is a 14th century timbered inn in the heart of the village. We had a belated Anniversary lunch here today!

Two long distance paths, the South Downs Way and Vanguard Way cross here and the beautiful Cuckmere Haven is nearby.

It is also haunted!
