Raisins

These are our neighbours grape drying beds. The grape variety harvested in this area is very sweet. Much of the crop is turned to sweet wine and the rest is laid out in the sun to dry. Each dried out grape is then topped and tailed by hand with scissors. They spend weeks doing it. Unfortunately these are not seedless grapes so they are not palatable for many people.
