Abstracted Expressionist Wall

Whatever about watching paint dry, framing dry paint can be delightful, if you find the right abstract mural, as here, a vacant lot in Dún Laoghaire.

I love abstract expressionism, though I sometimes wonder at its random and accidental nature. If you saw this on a canvas in Moma mightn't you admire its harmony and balance? The daring use of yellow? The dusky green?

There was building going on nearby, though I hadn't noticed any activity till a man in a hi-vis jacked drove over to let me know they were closing the gates. He was friendly enough, though stepped out of the frame when he sensed I was about to 'capture' him. I let him go, one that got away.
