Biar

Here you can see the main landmarks in Biar - the castle and the church. It was taken while on our walk which started in the Sierra del Reconco outside Biar, where we were taken to the top of the hill by bus - lucky us! Then it was a long walk downhill through woodland to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Grace. We had time to look at the Sanctuary which houses the statue of the Virgin and then we walked down the road leading to the Sanctuary by the "Stations of the Cross" into Biar.

There was another thunderstorm in the afternoon but we were under cover, drinking beer (again).
