Rabbit! (well actually a hare)

I had a two beautiful jumpers. An N Peal gauzy cashmere, in yellow. A Joules merino sweater with an intarsia hare on the front.

I loved them very much but indulged in the risky business of washing them in the machine. All was fine until one day it wasn't, and they came out looking rather sad and certainly not wearable.

I couldn't bear to part with them. This week inspiration struck. I washed them even hotter to felt them properly and have chopped them up and turned them into cases for iPad minis and kindles! Going to make them for Christmas for friends and family and try to sell some at a community jumble sale tomorrow. There might be phone cases made from the arms as well.

Hopefully they will keep on bringing happiness in a different form.
