Zabuton

Who would have thought the mat one places under the meditation cushion had a special name! Well it's a zabuton, i.e. the snazzy white and black thing in this photograph which keeps my knees and ankles from getting sore during meditation.
I'm on a weekend retreat with teachings by Ken Holmes on Mahamudra and so far it's been fantastic.
The dogs rather fancy this zabuton as a new and extremely comfortable bed. Sleep tight I'm about to start writing nonsense.
