Mummy on a Mission

Not sure if today has been good or not. Teribly tired after yet another night of Little Miss E and her midnight all night wanderings and the need to shout for me continually.zzzzzzzzz

Terribly sad news to go to sleep to last night. The senseless horrific beheading of Alan Henning. Is there no hope for HUMANITY. Shouty capitals needed for my disgust and horror of it all.

But...on a lighter note took the Munchkins to see the Photofest exhibition at the HErtitage Centre where I have several images on display. So I think Munchkin 1 was quite impressed and he still loves one print in particular. It makes him smile widely every time...and it did several other people who were mulling around. It was lovely to secretly stand at listen to the public commenting so positively on my photographs. Indeed there were also many many fantastic and inspiring prints on display, but I think my favourite was a fantastically coloured, cleverly cropped image of an old American classic car.

The household saga of Munckin 1's bed is now over (important half moon nuts lost in removal transit, tried to order hopeless replacements on internet, failed every time). Ingeniously...or not so..I took said replacement nuts to large orange DIY store, and bought replacement bolts that fitted. The fact that they were roof fixing bolts is irrelevant, he now has the second bed constructed and made up without fear of it collapsing on any guest or friend!

Movie night means PJ's, popcorn, blankets and microwavable slippers!
