Woodland Walk

Out this morning for the Park Run on the Knavesmire in York. Just wanted to check we were feeling better to judge whether running tomorrow was sensible. No personal bests but completed the 5km without any ill effects.

I ran for the first time with Jet who was a little bemused by the whole event. He couldn't understand why he couldn't say hello to the other dogs running with their owners. Fortunately he did settle down to my pace and we both enjoyed the exercise.

This afternoon proved to be an improvement on the mornings weather and we had a walk through the woods. This is my favourite spot where this large tree clings to the side of the knoll. You can just see the remains of a rope swing used by local children.
