Pointless Quest

After a fruitless search for shrooms last saturday morning in Devilla Forest due to the dry spell we've been having, I was quite excited to arrive this morning after a very wet 24 hours, fully expecting a fungi extravaganza. What I hadn't expected was a coach trip from Edinburgh on a fungus foray in MY FOREST. At every turn there were happy bands of forayers with baskets full of MASSIVE toadstools and on the ground in all my usual haunts .. NOTHING. Still... Marley had a nice walk.
