Echoes of autumn

Autumn has arrived with a vengeance - heavy rain and plummeting temperatures. I was quite glad to stay indoors and enter yesterday's data - I even turned the heating on for a while. Late this afternoon the sun came out and I ventured into the garden with the thought of capturing sme droplets. But I loved the rich colour of these Crocosmia seed-heads even more - just as beautiful as the flowers.
