The Clockmakers Lathe

Exciting day in our house today, we went and collected the much awaited Clockmakers Lathe! These things are a bit like hens teeth and very expensive when they do come up for sale (brand new the price is out of this world!) Matthew has been looking for over 3 years for the right one and I think fate took a hand as this one belongs to a fellow member of the Horological Society Matthew belongs to and he is retiring and selling off his workshop so Matthew as able to purchase this from him.

One our way back we had a nice lunch in a pub so a good day!
