It's Waratah Time!

October in the Blue Mountains means one thing to me.....It's Waratah time. There's a property on Shipley Road which I pass every day and this year their Waratah bush is just glorious. The image I've blipped is one of a hybrid Waratah, but it's not less spectacular than the native variety.

It's been a very lean year out at Wombat Hollow this year for the Waratah so I'm very pleased to be able to see this fantastic bush on display. Thanks "Heatherbrae" for allowing me to take this photo.
