An Ancient Library

Woke up this morning to find ourselves off the coast of Turkey again - this time coming in to the port in Kusadasi. We very quickly found a very funny taxi driver who was also quite cheap and able to take all 6 of us for the day.

First stop was Ephesus which was really pretty impressive - this Library was my favourite part of the ruins - and after seeing the toilet block I am really happy I didn't live back then.

Next stop was the final dwelling place of the Virgin Mary which was also pretty cool.

From here we then headed back to the ship via a Turkish restaurant without any other tourists in site - really good basic food and great company.

Once back on ship it was time for a quick shower before Happy Hour where I found my new fav cocktail - the Sunsicle. We then managed to repay the favour and managed to get a table for 4 in our normal dinning room and brought J and G with us. Food was fab as usual finished off with an amazing Banana Crisp - I am really going to need to get the recipe for these 'crisps'.
