A busy boy

A definite change in the weather now, much cooler in the mornings. I went for a run with Gavin at 9am and even at that time it was very fresh outside.

Then home to get Adam up and ready for his driving lesson - he is doing so well, I am very pleased about that. Today he had to avoid horses on the road, cyclists in a bicycle race....typical Surrey road hazards!

So today's blip is Adam, because there is so much going on in his life at the moment, I wanted to record it to remember this busy period in his life - driving lessons, a heavy workload at school as he is taking five A levels (decided not to drop any but rather carry all five through to the end), arranging all the music for his inter house music competition, his university application...thankfully that is all done now as is his 12300 word extended project on the physiology of how muscles work when exercising - oh, and he had to present a talk on DNA at school last week, just another small research project to be fitted in. All this in addition to his rugby training, orchestra and choir commitments.

So I believe him when he says that at the Cambridge University open day last week, when they tried to scare the prospective science students by saying their week will comprise 50 hours of work per week, he was not phased by that at all as he already does that now.
