Pumpkins

We are always on the hunt for eating pumpkins as opposed to a carving pumpkin.

Roast pumpkin is always a treat or pumpkin fritters made with the left overs.

This display was at the Daylsford Organic Farm shop in Gloucestershire.


I bought the white "ghost" pumpkin on the extreme left.

Removing it nearly upset the entire display.

We tried to have lunch there but it was too busy so we went to the nearby The Wild Rabbit Inn in Kingham. It is also owned by the Daylsford estate.

Wonderful place and I had a crab lasagne with langoustine sauce.
