Neighbour's chicks

Our neighbours at Tyven had six chicken as pets this summer. One of them was killed by a Northern goshawk, so now there are just five left.

These ladies seemed to be so full of self-esteem - they just paced around twitching their stiff necks silently.

Today our neighbours came to us for coffee and some apple pie - we ended up having some glasses of wine and went to inspect their chicken before these will be moved to their winter quarters at a nearby farmer's place.
