"Stop looking so pleased with yourself Bud, just because you've got a new winter coast. There's no need to think you're someone special."

"But I am Poppy, I'm the only one, the only Hurtta Tester in the whole of Britain, and I'm testing my new coat."

"You're certainly the only one Bud, the only dog on this whole wide beach looking such a poser in a flash new coat!"

"But we're the only dogs on this whole wide beach, Poppy!"

"That's only because you've scared them all away Bud."

it did take Bud a while to get used to his new coat, but it certainly will keep him dry in the rain and wind this winter, so I'm very pleased.
