Brass to Chrome

This weekend has been busy removing internal doors and its furniture. Our doors, nothing wrong with them at all apart from being dark brown in colour are getting a face lift. A local company will collect all doors tomorrow and they will ‘dip’ them into a white coating to give them a more modern feel, - a huge saving than buying new. I have also saved money, to the tune of £200 buy not buying new hinges / latches and door latch thingys. How have I saved this money? I spent £5.99 on chrome spray paint and have spent a happy few hour’s paint spraying all the old door bits and bobs that where brass to chrome and this is the result!
In other news, another fab run this evening and now it’s time for chicken pie and then Downton Abbey on TV. Tomorrow I am taking a sneaky day from the office and off to see my parents who have returned home from being away in their other home for the last six months.
