Felt much better today-even managed to sleep well despite having spent most of yesterday asleep too! Only ventured out to get my usual Sunday rolls so took a quick snap of the slightly done up outside of the Bakehouse (it has a new smart white front and different signage-all part of current british baking vogue I guess!). I'd love to take photos of the two guys who work there and their very antique looking, totally flour covered baking equipment, but I think other customers might think me strange and I'm never the only one there.
Anyway, rest of the day just hunkered down and tried to get through my to do list ready for the next two weeks away. Getting chilly here. Can't imagine that in 2 days' time I'll be a long way away in 40(c) heat!
