Pleasantly Calm
14.5C with some cloud and some brightness. More cloud later. Light breeze.
Before lunch Apothecary7 and I took Mave the Deerhound for a walk down to the shore, then along to the Championship golf course before coming back home along the High Street in a long loop. It was pleasantly calm at the seafront with a few waves splashing on the sea defences near high tide.
At the golf courses the removal of all the paraphernalia required for a professional golf tournament was well under way. Barriers were being taken away by a forklift and people were dismantling the scoreboards.
Play in the Dunhill Links Championship concluded with the final round at St Andrews today with the subject of my Thursday blip Rory McIlroy having a good final round to finish joint second, just one stroke behind the winner Oliver Wilson.
