365 #277 - Here endeth the lesson

Today beloved asked me to take some shots of her, which is always a pleasure.
One objective though, was to get an actor head shot and I made the fatal error of:
a) responding to the request spontaneously (and not planning it properly) and
b) trying to emulate what she's had done before with another photographer.

What I should have done (aside from planning it) was set it up and shoot the way I believe it should be done, so I'm a bit annoyed at not having a bit more faith in myself.
However, it was fun (as this shot shows) and the only bad shot is one you don't learn from.
