And it is Done

45 miles from Buckingham Palace to Windsor (racecourse) is done. Thank goodness.

I was up early to get myself and the bike into Central London (about 530). I met my friends around 820am and we set off around 9am.

H helped set a pace for me and totally kept me going, even through all these really really tough hills. That course is so much more hilly than I remembered last year.

Steve met me afterwards and I was straight in a nice warm bath to soak my aching muscles.

Now that I am out I have been straight to the sofa and am utterly exhausted. I cannot believe how beautiful the weather was today - it was perfect cycling weather.
