My little perfectionist

Anna did Sugarcraft modelling for the first time today. So obviously she expected that she would be as good as the professional doing the demonstration. Eventually she did accept that perhaps her pumpkin and witch's hat looked perfectly fine as they were. All part of a rather splendid afternoon at the Cake and Bake Show at Earls Court. Other highlights included seeing all the Bake Off finalists and an amazing cooking with chocolate demonstration by our new favourite* chocolatier Paul A Young. Top learnings were how to roll pastry and that vanilla comes from orchids. As Miranda's mom would definitely say, "such fun".

Whilst we were off doing that the menfolk split themselves between a go-karting birthday party and watching football in the pub.

The morning was spent together in the beautiful autumn sunshine watching J's football team scrape a narrow victory. And this evening we are united again for some Fawlty Towers.
