Pooley Bridge

Or Poorly Bridge as my daughter used to call it when she was a tiny tot.
At the bottom of Ullswater it is now a very busy little village with pubs, shops, cafes, hotels/B&B and a steamer landing and lots of places to camp. Too busy for me nowadays. Today I was en route to picking hubby up after A to B fell run. Not so long ago it seemed a very quiet place. Having said that when you add up the years of not so long ago they add up to eighteen years- gulp!!!
