All about Perspective

We have another day of horrible weather, but decided not to let that stop us getting out and about. We went on the Goldfields train between Waihi and Waikino today. It was freezing on the train, but at Waikino there was a lovely cafe with an open fire pumping heat out.

On our return we made our way up to the Gold mine look out. All that machinery looks so teeny weeny. We wandered around the top of the mine, until yet another squall sent us running for the car.

The afternoon continued to look awful, so we went across to Athenree and went to the hot pools there and spent the afternoon flicking the Vees at the awful weather.

Gotta love hot pools.
