Daisy, Daisy

Have been busy in the house today, and have not been out and about taking photos. On such occasions I delve into my treasure cupboard, and blip something that used to belong to my granny. It helps me to have a fresh look at something that I have maybe not looked at for a while.
This is the lid of a beautiful, small brass box-it has a wonderful daisy design on it. What technique has ben used to make it I do not know. Any ideas are welcome.
