Dark Satanic Mills

This morning No 2 was offered the chance to go with the Youth Pilgrimage to Lourdes next year. I didn't think it would be of interest to her, but surprisingly she was really excited. Loads of hard work and fund raising before July 2015, but I'm glad she has a challenge of her own.

Mind you, she was warned to watch out for the Italian and French boys ! - but told she would only be allowed to talk to the Scottish and Irish boys (Guffaw! Irish !?? They are bigger charmers than the foreigners).

This afternoon we took a trip to Perthshire and the Stanley Mills. what an amazing place. Loads of interactive parts for big and little kids to play with, and a fascinating insight to life in the mills in the 1800s.

No 3 was a bit spooked though. She didn't like the Carding Room, and wanted to leave very quickly...there was certainly an atmosphere!
