Levens Hall

Watering and delivering this morning and then an afternoon at Levens Hall in Cumbria.The topiary always looks fantastic and most of it is over 300yrs old but I liked the willow maze with this hare sat in the middle of it.

Strange experience yesterday evening when watching a documentary about the band Genesis.There I was at the age of eighteen with long curly hair meeting Phil Collins for his autograph.

As you get older you can't always make it all the way through the night and when I get up I usually have a look out the window and it put me in mind of this poem by my favourite poet.Hope you like it.Sad Steps
