Ghent

I spent a very nice day walking around the city of Ghent here in Belgium. It was overcast with a nip in the air but I think that makes for perfect walking weather. There was a lot to see so we walked plenty. We also took a boat ride down the river to get a different view of the city. I loved the boat ride. A full hour of being taken all around the city and the guide was very informative. It was definitely my favorite part of the day.
Even though it was Sunday, many shops were open for a special Shop Sunday event. We got lucky. We ate in one of the squares. I took so many pictures but picked this one for my blip because it gives you a good idea of what it looked like along the water.

Tomorrow I head home and will be able to get back to reading and commenting on your journals.
