Heidi's birthday party
I had to be up early to ice the going home cupcakes then off to work. I left work at top speed, put a dress on to look a bit smart and zoomed over to the church hall where we were having the grand party! Hels was there in a panic over different sized tables and chairs but we soon got it sorted, Caz and Aunty Sam arrived and like a well oiled party machine everything got done. The kitten tableware looked cute, the food was gorgeous and then Mum and Dad arrived with the cake that Tanya had made. Top marks Aunty Tanya - 3 very cute pink bunny cakes for the 3 birthday girls to blow their candles out on.
The over excited birthday girls and their siblings arrived with their suprisingly helpful Daddies. Then the even more excited guests arrived, the volume in the hall was definately breaching health and safety recommendations. Louby Lou entertained them all, I loved it when Heidi, Katie and Ruby all stood at the front sharing a microphone singing 'Let it go' from Frozen whilst all their friends joined in. They sang, danced, laughed and had balloon animals, ate party tea, parents were fed, all dispatched with a cupcake, party bag and party hat. I did feel perhaps next year we should also dispense 2 paracetamol and a sip of water to each parent leaving too.
India and Emma went to Lexis for a birthday sleepover and grown up Thai banquet meal whilst Heidi made short work of her present pile, I felt a bit overwhelmed by how thoughtful and generous her presents were.
