The nest.

Happened to be in Newcastle for a convention and noticed this interesting sculpture outside the Art Gallery. It's entitled "The Nest on the Totem" and has only recently been installed after the Gallery and surrounding area were refurbished.
The sculpture was created by Brett Whitely, a well known Australian artist. Although he is no longer around, his works are much sought after so it was pleasing to me to see this creation so prominently displayed.
