Last post

Sunday I was at a 1940s event at Holme in Cambridgeshire and the day included a brief service of remembrance.

This was the sounding of the last post at that time.

The rest of the day was spent meeting lots of people, old friends and new and even spending some time at a tea dance (not a cup of tea in sight, but the fashion show, singing and dancing were fun) before heading home and on to a class in the evening.
