Persona non grata

Dogs and I were not invited to Munich. So with the sun shining in the morning did two washine machine loads and hung it all out to dry.

Then set off for Erkheim for a walk and just as we got back to the car, a few drops of rain appeared. As the weather forecast had said a very small chance of a shower thought nothing of it and set about doing all the things I needed to get done in Erkheim - chicken feed, new overall for me, rainpipe, large chunk of "organic" pork for a roast, general food shopping, petrol station. Took ages and minute for minute it rained more & more.

By the time we got home, the washing was soaked but it stopped and looked like it would get better. Left it hanging and had a late lunch and 30 minute snooze. By the time I went out the rain started again so gave up & put the washing in the drier.

Meanwhile in Munich it stayed dry until early evening so Angie could enjoy her afternoon tour around the Oktoberfest with her sister Sigi and then meet up with the rest of the family.

Well at least I got a few tractor photos and a souvenir beer mug! By the way the tractors are part of a collection of vehicles used by the showground families to drive from site to site during the season with their caravans and caroussels. They were not used as agricultural machines.
