Roaring in...

In certain weathers the intakes to the Hydro Schemes across the country provide a dramatic sight (and sound).

This one at the top of Loch Tarsan was throwing out vast volumes of water this morning after a night of heavy rain and strong winds.

I noticed it immediately as I drove along the loch side , not least because the level of the Loch is still low after a very dry September.
