Transformed

Today, I was convinced, would be the end summer, the end off short wearing, the end of the spoiling warmth we have come to take for granted. And to some degree that was true.

After a reasonably clear and non-foreboding start the promised band of rain set on us about 1045 and kept up until around 330. With its dispersal came a shocking fall in temperature so whereas it had been 22c and sunny now it was 14c and really sunny.

This was taken at the end if the day which you wouldn't believe possible having seen the skies at mid-day.
