New beginnings

An exciting day of new beginnings.

Our 13 week scan was today at Basingstoke and after 7 weeks of feeling utterly sick it was wonderful to see a fully formed little baby in there with a strong beating heart and little arms and legs waving about. A truly heart warming sight.

Baby was very compliant for the sonographer and lay in exactly the correct position for the scan, just jumping a little bit now and then which was sweet. Couldn't have been more different to C's scan where he was squirming all over the place and we needed to have 3 scan attempts!

Well it certainly feels real now and to see a little live moving miracle on the screen was a lovely moment for both of us. To have one little boy is a blessing, we are very lucky to get to experience all of this a second time.
