Barter Books

Wonderful second hand bookshop in Alnwick, which I passed through on my way home today.
It's in the old railway station, and some genius came up with the idea of a model railway that runs along the tops of the bookshelves in the first hall.
They also have strips of random quotations everywhere, and several corners with comfortable chairs, and fires (yes, fires!), and tea and coffee and so forth. And they allow dogs in.

Best second hand bookshop ever.
