I've mentioned the fallen poplar tree before but not blipped it.  It was this, 60 ft of it, that was hidden under the brambles.

There's some debate what to do with it.  The firewood option is one argument, but there's also a thought that it's relatively attractive and climbonable, and part of the history and could be left in-situ. The option of moving it is a non-option.

I suspect some compromise will be reached.  Meanwhile we'll continue to clear round it.

Post blip note.  The following weekend has seen some impressive further clearance from visiting Cheeseminors.  The Quandry remains, however.
