Bad car karma

My car was sluggish to start yesterday afternoon, and then died completely after I stopped outside my gate to make sure the dogs didn't run out. My first response was to be mad at myself for not trading it in after the radiator blew, then came all the stories and drama of what would flow out of this "tragedy".
I was able to nip this in the bud,and being Sunday could do nothing but leave my car outside and resolve to make a plan in the morning.
It all worked out today. I got some passing workmen to give me a push and drove to my local garage where they fitted a new battery in about 30 minutes.
Should I trade it in or keep going now I have a new battery and radiator?
