CC's Macro Lens
Today I gave myself another lesson in how not to be a photographer! We were up in Carlisle for afternoon visiting at the hospital, I have been relying on these time slots to get a few shots as potential blips. Believe me it is difficult when your camera is on the table at home 20 odd miles away!
Fortunately CC came to the rescue by having her camera bag with us. So I took the opportunity to have a play with CC's 60 mm macro lens. I didn't in my opinion do terribly well as many shots weren't sharp enough. The major faults were too slow shutter speeds or wrong DoF and some times both! Fortunately there were enough that were reasonably sharp. So I have used these Sycamore "helicopters" for today's blip.
Incidentally I ended my session with the same reaction Katkatkat had when she tried the lens. "I want one"!
