Goat Farm

Went to the Goat Farm today with the docents. It is a 13 acre property in Atlanta that once manufactured the cotton gin and is now a for profit complex that rents the very old buildings out to avant guard artists, scientists and entrepreneurs. We visited some artist studios, a blacksmith using traditional tools, and its exhibition space which also holds concerts, exhibits and theatrical performances. The property is also used by the film industry and we were prevented from doing some exploring because there was a movie shoot. But way back in a deserted space on the property were these file cabinets.
The building above the file cabinets is typical of the property. Really a wonderful place.
Goats are also on the property and apparently were there when the developers bought the property, giving it its name.
