East Cliff

Monday morning walk group was a marathon today ! To celebrate Debs birthday we walked about three hundred yards to the new coffee shop at The Black Dog in Uplyme (priorities) where we enjoyed some very good coffee before walking about four miles across country along the coastal path down to Marine Parade right along to East Cliff where the environmental anti-landslip works have incorporated a great walkway, past Back Beach and round into old town where we discovered the place we were going to have lunch was closed !

Soooo, back down to the beach, stopping at a nice place where having moved the tables to accommodate all ten of us and asked for the French doors to be opened to let the warm sunshine in, several of the group decided against the menu so apologising profusely we left and landed in the good old favourite The Harbour Inn.

A great walk, starting in a fine drizzle and ending in glorious sunshine with a great bunch of friends ! Happy Birthday Deb !
