A day late in posting - I did not have time to download from camera, let alone post.

I quite like the contrast here between the smooth wood and the gnarly bark. It's from a peach tree in my garden. Usually the insects get there before the peaches have had a chance to ripen properly. However, whatever peaches I get to enjoy are juicy, the way a peach should be.
