Date Night

This picture is about the only one I took all day and it does the day no justice at all. After going to a new restaurant called Wild Ginger for some tapas that included Hare, Duck, and Angus rib eye... all of which were fantastic. The Angus was as rare as rare gets, I've tried rare food many times and never really enjoying it as there has always been a texture of raw meat about it but this was amazing, no raw meat texture, warm and incredibly tasty, just how things should be.

Nomi and I went to the new chocolate shop, Koko Black, for dessert. After talking about gateau all week at work, it was on the menu here so it had to be ordered along with a salted caramel treat. Gateau was incredibly disappointing but the caramel thing more than made up for it, one of the best desserts I have ever tasted, in the background here complete with a small jug of very liquid caramel to pour.

Another food success in Queenstown, such a fantastic place to eat, we are truly lucky to live in such a wonderful place and all the food is so so close together!
